The road takes you from Terme Zreče (396 metres above sea level) past Unior, over the Dravinja River, where the trail starts to ascend. After a lengthy ascent, you will reach the top of Brinjeva Gora (630 metres above sea level) via the Gračič village. Traces of the first human settlements on Brinjeva Gora date back about 4,000 years to the Neolithic Period. On the top of the mountain, three churches await (Saint Agnes, Holy Mother of God and Saint Martin) that are all worth a visit. The panoramic road towards Zlakova will take you to the small and picturesque hill village Gorenje above Zreče (760 metres above sea level) via Črešnova Vas.

After a short ascent, you will find yourself amidst a picturesque landscape among vineyards. Now you have found yourself in Škalce and soon you will reach the most state-of-the-art furnished wine cellar in Styria, Zlati Grič, where you can treat yourself to a bit of wine. You can return the same way or take the trail through the Gračič village.

Cycle past the Zreče Lake and continue your journey through Križevec (422 metres above sea level), from where you will descend to the Stranice village and take the regional road towards Celje. Before Frankolovo, turn right towards Črešnjice. The turn will be followed by a lengthy ascent on the sunny slope of the Konjiška Gora Mountain, until you reach the Črešnjice (511 metres above sea levels) and Sojek (558 metres above sea levels) villages. This is followed by a lengthy descent to the Valley of Saint John the Baptist, where the lonesome oldest convent in Slovenia, the Žiče Charterhouse, awaits. Continue from the Žiče Charterhouse along the road that takes you through Žiče, Konjiška Vas and Blato to Slovenske Konjice and back to Terme Zreče.
